Refund policy

At Botellas OÜ, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase.
This Refund Policy explains when and how you may return goods purchased from our online store.

1. Return Period

You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to request a return (“right of withdrawal” under EU law).

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unopened, sealed, and in the same condition in which it was delivered.
  • The item must be in its original packaging.
  • You must include the receipt or proof of purchase.

Important: Alcoholic beverages cannot be returned once opened due to safety, hygiene and quality regulations.

3. How to Start a Return

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

If your return is accepted, we will send you return instructions.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product was faulty or incorrect.

4. Damaged, Incorrect or Faulty Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

Contact us at info@botellas.eu if:

  • the product is damaged,
  • the shipment contains the wrong product,
  • the packaging has leaked or broken,
  • or if you suspect a quality defect.

We will investigate the issue and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

5. Items That Cannot Be Returned

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Opened or unsealed alcoholic beverages
  • Perishable goods (e.g., food/tapas products after opening)
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Gift cards
  • Sale or clearance items

6. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange a product, the fastest option is to:

  1. Return the item following the standard return procedure.
  2. Place a new order for the desired item.

7. EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If your order is shipped within the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days, without giving any reason.

Conditions:

  • The product must be unopened and unused.
  • Original packaging must be intact.
  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

This right does not apply to opened alcoholic beverages or products whose packaging has been broken.

8. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether the refund is approved.

If approved:

  • The refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to process the transaction.
